What do I get by pledging a house?

  • Tax exemption: Donations made to HIC are exempt from tax.
  • The naming of the house you pledge. Signage of the house will also incorporate your company or group logo and branding.
  • Your generosity will be actively promoted across our social media networks
  • Team building for your company by getting actively involved in the project.

In October 2010 the organization amended their constitution and drafted building plans to build a Child and youth care centre. The organizations building plans were approved by town planning in November 2012. All donations received by the organization from 2010 – 2014 benefited the building of the first house (Shepherd House), Dining hall and the fencing of the property.

Completed or partially completed projects thus far:

Phase 1: Jabu’s house Started on the 11 February 2012 and was Completed at the end of March 2012.

Upon completion of the entire project, we will be home to more than 100 children, plus house parents & staff. We will also benefit the local children in Ingogo with our Early Learning Centre. Feeding projects will also be established from our Dining hall for school going children in the community (lunches).
